Spring 2014 Bookings (and a few other things!) | St. Louis Family Photography | Jordan Parks Photography

I’m really excited to be working on a couple personal projects this year. In 2013, I did the 10 on 10 with an awesome group of photographers. We each shared 10 pictures from the 10th of each month, and it was a great way to push me to document the little in-between moments that I love so much. This year, the same group of girls and I are doing a Project 52 with My Four Hens Photography. There are 52 “prompts”, or themes for each week. It’s a great exercise in creativity, and we are going to be blogging our weekly images in a blog circle once again each month.

Another personal project I’m working on is called The Hours. Since we decided not to do the 10 on 10 again (and I really loved it), I thought I would try and do it with another group of photographers that I have known for a few years through Flickr. The group grew pretty rapidly and we realized that it would be pretty darn impossible to have all 33 of us blog 10 images each a month. After a lot of brainstorming, The Hours was born. We are going to be documenting each hour of the day, and each month will be dedicated to one hour. January is all about 7 am, and our first post went live this past Sunday (and will run every Sunday). The response has been anything short of amazing. We’ve had so much interest in our little blog that we now have a facebook page, twitter account and flickr group where we are accepting submissions to participate in each month’s hour and for a chance to be featured on our sister blog, “After Hours.”

Here is my take on the 7 am hour that ran this week…

We would love you to check out our blog and follow along! Click HERE to see what The Hours is all about.

The Project 52 will run at the beginning of each month, so January’s images will post at the beginning of February and so on.

In addition to all that, I am still shooting! Lifestyle sessions are great for those winter months where we’re all trapped indoors, and I’m also taking Lifestyle Newborn Sessions which can be done at the hospital or in your home. I’m taking reservations through May, and spring sessions are definitely filling up! It’s going to be a busy Spring!

I’m also working on new branding, giving the site a fresh look and updating all my editing software. I’ll make sure to give a few peeks when everything is set to go!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
